Here’s more exciting news for Clermont’s rapidly growing Downtown District. As new businesses and developments continue to open, the latest exciting addition is The Montrose Street Market. It will be opening later this year, in Clermont’s Downtown Historic District.

It will become a hotspot in the City of Clermont, where locals and visitors can enjoy the best of Clermont’s food, fashion, home goods and art. Plans are being put in place for live music and other events to start the opening months with a bang.

Set for December Opening

The new addition to Clermont’s thriving urban life is proposed to open on December 1st, 2018. It will be located at 793 West Montrose (Across from the music store, where the old paint store used to be), which can be found on the south-east corner of Montrose and 8th.

An Exciting Variety of Locally Based Vendors

The Street Market will be the place to go for any residents or tourists who are on the hunt for authentic local crafts.

The establishment will include a: Beer & Wine Bar, Gourmet Coffee Shop, Crepe Restaurant, Ice Cream & Cake Store, Steaks and Skewers Shop, Gourmet French Cheese Raclette Shop, Gourmet Plant Based Restaurant, Gourmet Brazilian Bites Shop and a truly relaxing, Essential Oils and Oxygen Bar.

5,000 Square-foot Environmentally Friendly Space

The space, which is fully leased, has already been completely renovated inside and has an industrial-modern vibe that is inspired by market halls found in London and Tampa.

Owners, Victor Berriel and Patrick Bianchi have said, “They’re destination points, we wanted to be an experience. When you go to the market, you are going to eat something you can’t find anywhere else. We saw this opportunity to revitalize downtown piece by piece and hopefully encourage other investors to do the same.”

Another Boost for Independently Owned Businesses in Clermont

The announcement is more positive news for our local business owners and entrepreneurs, as the project is dedicated to supporting independently owned businesses. All the vendors at the street market will be small businesses run by people who “enjoy their craft, and want to share it with the rest of Clermont and its surrounding areas.”

Great news for Clermont Residents

The opening will undeniably benefit Clermont residents, as it provides the lastest economic boost in the city’s rapid progress. The project is focusing on helping local businesses thrive, which will mean new jobs and a soul at the center of the community.

The Montrose Street Market also believes that growing local vendors will help pay taxes in Clermont that fund our schools, parks, public safety, and infrastructure, while also enriching Clermont culture.

Vendors Still Wanted

The owners are still looking for any vendors who are interested in the unique opportunity to have a brick and mortar location in downtown Clermont. No application fees are required, so if you are a local business owner looking to grab Clermont’s attention now is the time to act!
